Things have been very busy in our household over the last few months as we have settled into our new house in Warminster. Emily has been adjusting to her new little sister. She is very happy to give her kisses and hugs. She also likes to "bounce" her in the bouncy chair - sometime a little too much! Sometime she gets a little excited and decides to poke her in the eyes are smack her on the head - I guess this is what siblings do.

Emily is sleeping from 7:00ish straight through to 6:00ish on most nights. Alexis is still waking up for 3:00ish feedings with Mommy. Lisa will be returning to work in a few weeks and we are slowly transition Alexis to a bottle.

Both Emily and Aleixs will be attending daycare 3 days a week with "Mrs. Patti" who is one of our neighbors in Ivy Woods.

Alexis's first week

The last week has been very busy with Alexis coming home on Monday. Emily is adjusting slowly to life with Alexis. Lisa's mom will be staying with us this week to help out. Enjoy the pictures below.

New arrival

This weekend was very busy. With a trip to Abington Memorial Hospital on Friday at 11:30 PM a little over 12 hours later at 12:43 AM yesterday Alexis Nicole Reckner was born. She was 6 lb. 4 oz. and 20 in. There were no complications and mom is doing very well. Lisa's parents arrived at 3:00 AM on Saturday. Jim stayed at home with Emily and Cathy went to the hospital with me. My parents and sister arrived around 11:00 AM.

Eveyone, including Emily, has visited Lisa and Alexis by Saturday evening. Emily said "hi baby" but was otherwise quiet and sometimes concerned over Lisa's split attention.

Lisa and Alexis will be coming home around lunch on Monday, at which point the fun will begin!
